This hat is upcycled from an Indian sari—a woven fabric traditionally worn by women as a symbol of femininity, dignity, and grace.
The sari this hat is made from was gifted to us by a dear family friend who is generous, kind, and has an eclectic sense of style.
The fabric captures the essence of a vibrant sunset over the savannah with its rich orange-yellow and deep black color scheme. The crown features intricate embroidery of giraffes in warm tones of yellow and pink, giving the cap a lively, nature-inspired aesthetic.
Because these hats are made from a single sari, there are only a few of them on earth, and each piece is slightly different from the other.
