This hat is upcycled from an Indian sari—a woven fabric traditionally worn by women as a symbol of femininity, dignity, and grace.
The sari this hat is made from was gifted to us by a dear family friend who exudes warmth, generosity, and confidence. The baby blue base is accentuated by intricate pink floral patterns in the front two panels. The contrast and joyful tones create a very unique piece. Sport this hat in the sun and you will see the color shift as the rays strike it in different places.
Because these hats are made from a single sari, there are only a few of them on earth, and each piece is slightly different from the other.
